My town is situated in Moravia and in Silesia. About 60,000 inhabitants live here. They are two towns joined in one. Each of these towns has its square with a fountain. Frýdek-Místek is quite clean and nice town.

Frýdek-Místek is very nice town, rich in history. It has about 61,018 people and consists of two parts- Frýdek and Místek. The lady mayor of F-M is Mrs. Eva Richtrová. Frýdek is younger than Místek.

I live in a village, so I can't be critical with a town. I only know that I don't like it. If I could I would change it completely. My tiny nice village, on the other side, I wouldn't change for all worlds! I like walking on the green hills and I like watching the town from this distance. In Skalice (that is the name of my village) there is one small school, one shop in which people can buy everything and one pub - I haven't visited it yet.

I don't live in Frydek-Mistek, but in a bigger village Skalice near the town. It's about 8 km from the centre of the town. Frydek-Mistek is super. Here are many possibilities how to spend the free time. You can have a good time with your friends or you can see many sightseeings.

I live in town all my life and I got accustomed to the environment here. I don't think our town is exceptional. We have here everything what we need for life: shops, monuments, amusement. I like living here.

I live in Frýdek-Místek. Frýdek-Místek is not a big city. It lies in the north of Moravia. It lies on the both banks of the Ostravice river. Ostravice river divides the city to two parts, Frydek and Mistek. It has about 70 000 inhabitants. We have many shops here. We can buy what we want. We have supermarkets, toy shops, computer shops, department stores.

The town Frýdek-Místek has arisen on January 1st, 1943 - at that time two independent towns joined into one (moravian Místek together with the silesian Frýdek). The river Ostravice flowing through the town created a border between Moravia and Silesia till December, 1928. Frýdek lies on the right bank of the river, Místek is on the left bank.
